Five fun filled days made our Sierra Experience quite an adventure. We traveled the Central Valley to Sacramento where we toured historic "Old Town." Day two, we toured the State Capital then boarded Amtrak for a journey over the Sierra Nevada into Reno. What a ride!

On day three, we took a tour of Virginia City (home of the comstock load -- largest silver find ever) then into Carson City. Day four started off with a scenic drive down 395 to explore the old ghostown of Bodie. We ended the day in splendor at Mammoth Lakes.

Day five took us homeward bound stopping in Bishop at Schaf's Bakery for a delicious treat (where we all stocked up on "Sheepherders Bread").
