We started off by heading North to Fresno for lunch. Then we made a stop at Squaw Valley Herb Gardens where we learned all about the role of plants in California history. Our hostess, Rosemary, entertained us with legends and songs. This will be a regular stop in the future!

Just as we approached the Wonder Valley Resort, the bus was "ambushed" by our hosts on horseback. What a greeting! Wonder Valley Resort was really the highlight of our trip. We had fun and games both nights and more food than you can imagine. We even played Family Feud (Wonder Valley style) and had a Pajama Race.

We toured Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and made a surprise stop at the Forestiere Underground Gardens. Then we topped off the trip with wine tasting in Paso Robles. Quite an adventure!
