Our Monterey adventure started out with a wonderful lunch at The Steinbeck House, then off to visit one of California's finest museums, The Steinbeck National Center Museum. Following, we had the opportunity to visit fabulous Castroville (known as "The Artichoke Capital of the World"). We topped off the evening with sightseeing, shopping and dinner at the world famous Cannery Row in Monterey. the next day we saw an extraordinary view of the "Lone Cypress" along the 17-Mile Drive, toured Mission San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo, and visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The next day our farewells were shared over wine tasting at the Gainey Vineyards.
